I don’t live in West Palm Beach, can I still work with you?

Of course! We can still work together even if you don’t live in West Palm Beach, Florida. I’m happy to serve my clients locally and across the country. If you live in the United States and have access to the internet, we can work together.

Where are you from? How did you get here?

I was born and raised in New York. However, I’ve also lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I have even lived overseas for a few years, in Malaysia. But currently (and for now) West Palm Beach, Florida is my home base. For more about my background, check out my LinkedIn profile.

What does it meant to be 100% Virtual?

I work with my clients through Zoom, and I utilize secure online technology to electronically transfer sensitive data. I don’t have an office where you can visit me, but at the same time, you’ll never get stuck in traffic trying to make it to our next meeting.

How long will all of this take? What’s the lock-up period?

We offer one-time and ongoing services. If you decide to team up with me, you are free to move in a different direction at any time. I don’t require long-term commitments, and you can terminate at any time with 30 days notice.

How do you get paid?

I am a Fee-Only advisor. This means that I’ll never accept a commission for a product that I recommend to you, and the only way that I get paid is from you to me.

Are your fees competitive?

Yes. Very. Industry average fees tend to be much higher, but I am able to add value by keeping my overhead down while still maintaining great service to my clients. BTW, this also means I won’t be spending your hard-earned money to buy you expensive dinners or ball game tickets.

Do I need to a minimum amount of money to work with you?

There are many paths to financial freedom, and depending on your specific trajectory, you may not have that war chest saved up yet. But no problem. So long as you can cover our fee, you’re golden. Our minimum fee for a Comprehensive Financial Plan is $2500, and our minimum Ongoing Financial Planning with Ongoing Investment Management is $450 per month. Your actual fees will be contingent upon the complexity and assets involved in your specific situation.

Are you a fiduciary?

Yes. I am required to put your best interests above my own. It also helps that I’m independent. This means I don’t have a boss above me telling me what I can and cannot do. This allows you to take control of your financial future with confidence and without the need for an expensive middleman.

Do you have a CFP®? BTW, what’s a CFP®?

Yes, I am CFP® professional. For more than 30 years, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification has been the standard of excellence for financial planners. CFP® professionals have met extensive training and experience requirements, and commit to CFP Board’s ethical standards that require them to put their clients’ interests first. That’s why partnering with a CFP® professional gives consumers confidence today and a more secure tomorrow.

Any other credentials I should know about?

I began my professional career designing large-scale financial applications for tier-one banks. Later, I managed an exotic options book for a private firm, generating over $750 million in sales in three years. After that, I was a Portfolio Manager for a Hedge Fund, managing over $100 million in assets. Academically, I have a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Engineering, and an MBA from Cornell University.
